Listen to expert Matthew Rice from Open Rights Group talking about why we should be concerned about protection of our digital rights once we leave the EU.
He says:
“There is a tug of war & the UK is in the middle of it. It’s between EU standards of data protection & US standards of data economies & access to technology & access to personal data…the US doesn’t have the same standards, not even close, to data standards of privacy….We basically have a digital chlorinated chicken issue coming down the line.”
